Shaira Chaer is a 28-year-old visual artist, freelance writer, organizer and social justice facilitator born and raised in The Bronx. Her photography has been displayed in New York City and Los Angeles. Chaer has been featured in Madamenoire, Vibe Magazine, Posture Magazine, Adolescent Content, Refinery29, Yahoo!, The Bettys, Sukeban Magazine, Girlgaze Project and Drunk Magazine. She was also a Montez Press Summer 2017 artist-in-residence at at Matthew Gallery.
