So reads the call to action on Iluminemos Mexico’s homepage. The grassroots organization has called for an international silent march against kidnapping and corruption this Saturday, August 30th, which includes U.S. cities such Houston, San Jose, and Chicago. The march, which will be rooted in the Mexico’s capital with an expected crowd of 1 million people, is a stand against the ruthless, daily kidnappings plaguing the country.
