If you’re attending a Beyoncé and Jay Z concert, you’re probably hoping they look in your general direction. For Issac Guerrero, an outing to Bey and Jay’s show ended with something better: a $100,000 scholarship. In footage from the concert, DJ Khaled is shown explaining that through BeyGood and the Shawn Carter Foundation, the couple has awarded scholarships throughout the tour. As Khaled begins to explain the young student’s accomplishments, Issac stands with his friends, unaware that his name would reverberate around the stadium, filled with thousands of people.

In an interview with ABC 10 News, Guerrero said he had no idea he was nominated for the scholarship. “Words cannot describe it,” he said. “I thank Jay Z and Beyoncé from the bottom of my heart. They’re going to make my dream come true.”

With this money, it’ll be easier for the Barrio Logan teen to attend NYU, where he hopes to study art and graphic design so that he can become a comic book artist. Issac is a member of the Boy & Girls Club in Logan Heights, San Diego. Branch manager Ricardo Sandoval described him as as “the epitome of what Boy & Girls Clubs stands for.”

Check out the moment he learned he won the scholarship before.
