By now, we’ve learned the power of Selena is unmatched. Two decades after her death, La Reina de Tejano continues making history. Earlier this month, the unveiling of her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame drew thousands, breaking the 1998 attendance record set by Vicente Fernández. Now, Patty Rodriguez and Ariana Stein’s new board book, La Vida de Selena, is selling out on Amazon. Having just dethroned JK Rowling’s Harry Potter y la piedra filosofal, the book currently sits at No. 1 on Amazon’s Spanish-language book list.

The book is part of Rodriguez and Stein’s Lil’ Libros series, which has also highlighted other iconic women, including Frida Kahlo and Celia Cruz. In an Instagram post, the founders of the company say the book was written to pay tribute to Selena.

“Thank you for your music, energy, and love,” the post reads. “The love you had for us – your community. By never forgetting you; by sharing your smile, music, and life with our children. By reminding them that you were us. That you loved and sang in two languages. That wherever you went you were proud of who you were and where you came from. By keeping you part of our family just like our parents did when you were here. This is for you.”

With a March release date, there’s still some time until you can get your hands on the book. But if you want to support the Latina businesswomen behind the title, you can pre-order here.
