Amazon won the Super Bowl, thanks in part to Cardi B. For the Super Bowl, the company reimagined a world where celebrities fill in for the virtual personal assistant. With the help of Rebel Wilson, Gordon Ramsay, Anthony Hopkins, and Cardi, Amazon Echo users get some not-so-useful answers. For example, when one person asks Alexa to play country music, the Trini-Dominican rapper just plays “Bodak Yellow.” The commercial, which ends with Alexa making a comeback, took the No. 1 spot in USA Today’s Ad Meter, which is a “ranking of Super Bowl commercials based on consumer votes.”
