Frida Kahlo’s Face Is Being Used to Promote Feminine Hygiene Products Because Nothing Is Sacred

Take a not-so-deep dive through Etsy or even Instagram, and you’ll quickly realize that there’s no shortage of Frida Kahlo-themed items. The feminist icon’s face is plastered on socks, shirts, and even planters. And yet, nothing could have prepared us for the reality that Frida’s face could appear on anything, including packages of feminine hygiene products.

Saba launched a collection of Frida-themed pads, pantiliners, and tampons. Some of the packages include cases, which feature Kahlo’s face, to store the products, according to El Universal.
