Here Are the Latine Comedians Performing at ‘Netflix is a Joke Fest’ 2024

Netflix is a Joke Fest is around the corner. Not only is it the biggest comedy festival in North America, but it will also feature some of the most recognized Latine comics today, including Mexican-American Gabriel “Fluffy” Iglesias, Venezuelan-American Fred Armisen, Mexican-American Cristela Alonzo, and many more. The massive comic fest will kick off on May 1 and wrap up on May 12. 

The 12-day celebration is set to highlight some of today’s biggest Latine comedians such as Iglesias, who will perform at the Hollywood Palladium (May 6); and Armisen who will perform at multiple shows from May 2 to 5. 

Alonzo is representing women this year at the Egyptian Theatre (May 5). Other Latine women who are gracing the stage include Dominican-American stand-up comedian Glorelys Mora, Mexican-American-Venezuelan comic Lara Ricote, Mexican comedian/host and first Latina cast member in Saturday Night Live Melissa Villaseñor, Mexican-American comic Vanessa Gonzalez, and more.

Other names that are showcasing our cultures’ talent include Mexican-American comic Ralph Barbosa, who is performing multiple shows, including the kick-off showcase Introducing…; Mexican comedian and actor Carlos Ballarta, performing at the Avalon Hollywood (May 7); Mexican-American stand-up comedian Saul Trujillo, performing at The Comedy Store (May 8); Mexican-American comedian René Vaca, performing multiple shows; and American-Mexican-Italian comic Matteo Lane, who is performing at the YouTube Theater (May 11).

More Latines participating include Mexican-American comic Nick Guerrera, Mexican-American stand-up comedian Felipe Esparza, Venezuelan-American stand-up comedian Francisco Ramos, Mexican-American comic Frankie Quiñones, and Dominican-American stand-up comedian Julio Diaz. Mexican-American comic Kevin Flores, Bolivian-Iranian comic Martin Amini, and Peruvian-American comic Tom Segura are also participating this year.
