After a brief break for the Holidays, our Instagram of the Week series continues! This week we introduce you to a Spanish illustrator and designer from Barcelona:

Who: I came across Joana Santamans when researching some art events in San Francisco, and found this hands-on workshop she will be teaching at Public Works. After checking out the Barcelonian illustrator, I was instantly drawn to her unique style, which has lead her to be commissioned for exhibits and murals from London to New York and beyond.
Why You Should Follow Her: If you want to be attacked by cute every time you check your Instagram feed. She mostly uploads photos of her newest works, with photos of her openings, travels, and Zoe Deschanel-like cuteness sprinkled along the way. Her vibrant, yet dainty illustrations and murals of animals and nature are so whimsical, they can instantly make you feel like you’re stuck in a dreamy film montage, and who wouldn’t want that?
