Hello Remezcla heads! I’m Isa GT and I’ve been invited to blog here to give you the inside scoop on the underground music scene. For those who don’t know me, I’m a DJ, emcee, and music producer from Colombia. I’ve been based in London for the last nine years, where I put on two club nights: Girlcore and Musicalia.
Not long ago, I released an EP called Pa’ Chikirri on the Berlin-based label, Man Recordings. I’ve got two original songs where I sing in “paisa,” Medellin’s regional accent or slang, plus three remixes by Crookers, Joao Brasil, and Daniel Haaksman.
