John Green is a smart young adult novelist that also happens to have a huge YouTube following – his fans call themselves “nerdfighters” – for the vlog he and his brother Hank do called, appropriately enough, VlogBrothers. Then later, John Green created a new series of YouTube videos called Crash Course where viewers can find crash courses – these Green brothers and their apt names – in various topics. While he admits that this episode on Latin American revolutions would do the subject more justice if it were five separate episodes, well, that would defeat the point of it being a crash course, huh?
