J Balvin opened up to Ventaneando about his newest bff, Justin Bieber, aka the year’s thirstiest instagrammer.
Though we’ve been tracking their bromance for a while now – one that culminated in the official Latino remix for “Sorry” – we always wondered how the two first met. According to Balvin, it happened because of fashion. To hear him tell it, he was walking down an LA street when he ran into the Biebs, who was all “I like your shoes.” To which Balvin responded, “I like yours too.” We’re pretty sure there were more publicists and agents involved in this sus story, but either way it seems like it blossomed into a great friendship.
“We get along really well,” he said. “We have nice chemistry, very natural,” he said.
And though the two have already teamed up on “Sorry (Latino Remix),” Balvin won’t be happy until he gets Bieber to crossover and sing in Spanish. “One of my dreams is having Justin sing in Spanish,” he said. “I know it’s going to happen. It’s only a matter of time.”
I mean, he’s already taught him how to say “parcero,” so he’s getting there.
