If you’ve tried to go to Lin-Manuel Miranda‘s Broadway hit Hamilton, then you know, it doesn’t come cheap. Forbes reported that based on secondary-market ticket prices, Hamilton is currently the most expensive Broadway show. And now that he just nabbed a MacArthur “genius” grant, we’re guessing the ticket sales are gonna keep going through the roof. While the album with the original cast has already been released, Miranda is already onto the next thing. And we’re not gonna lie, we’re totally excited about it.

Today, Miranda announced that he’s going to be working on The Hamilton Mixtape, which will feature remixes, covers, and more, like an unreleased rap battle between Alexander Hamilton, James Madison and Thomas Jefferson.

But it’s not going to happen until next year.

Fair enough.
