Phoenix Center for the Arts Gears Up for Festival de España

Phoenix Center for the Arts has teamed up with Flamenco Por La Vida to bring a little bit of España to the downtown Phoenix art scene. Featuring flamenco workshops, Spanish cuisine, lectures, art, shopping, and of course beer and wine gardens. The lineup of local performers will include dancer Elena Osuna, singer Vicente Griego, guitarist Gabriel Osuna, Mele Martinez, Jason Martinez, and Angelina Ramirez.

We’ll be bringing you more info as it become available. Until then, here’s the schedule for when it all goes down on March 22nd.
12:30-1:00pm – FREE “Kids Flamenco Dance Class” with Flamenco Por La Vida
1:00-2:00pm – Lecture on Northern Spanish Culture sponsored by Petra Conde of Asociación Cultural Española de Arizona (ACEAZ)
1:45-2:45pm – FREE “Intro to Flamenco Class” (Ages 13 – Adult) with Flamenco Por La Vida 3:00-4:00pm – Lecture on the History of Flamenco by Erica Ocegueda
3:30-4:00pm – FREE “Kids Flamenco Dance Class” with Flamenco Por La Vida
4:45-5:45pm – FREE “Intro to Flamenco Class” (Ages 13 – Adult) with Flamenco Por La Vida
