Months ago, there were rumors that Rosario Dawson and Cory Booker were a thing. After being spotted at a movie theater and then at a Broadway show, people started planning the rest of the duo’s life (basically a lot of First Lady Rosario Dawson fan fiction). But since then, we hadn’t heard too much about their maybe relationship – that is, until TMZ caught a very smitten Dawson at Reagan National Airport in Washington, DC, who revealed the two are in love.
After the TMZ reporter asked some warm-up questions, he asked point-blank if the two were dating. “Yes, very much so,” Dawson responded. She didn’t share too much information about the relationship, but Rosario did add that everything’s going well right now, despite both being very busy. Booker announced recently that he’s running for president, and Dawson juggles an acting career and her activism.
“He’s a wonderful human being. It’s good to spend some time together when we can. We’re very busy,” she said.
The TMZ reporter tried to use the recent Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez engagement as a way to figure out if Rosario and Cory were headed in that direction. Rosario said she had no idea, but that she’s happy about where they are right now.
“I am just grateful to be with someone that I respect and love and admire so much who is so brilliant and kind and caring and loving,” she said.
