Many of us have memories of an educator going above and beyond to enrich our lives. In a classroom in Huaynamota, Nayarit, Mexican teacher Bibi Glez gave one of her students an unforgettable birthday. Upon learning that the young boy had never had a birthday cake, Glez surprised him with one during class. In images she shared onto Facebook, we see one of his classmate look on with sheer excitement. Meanwhile, the boy goes through a range of emotions.
Glez didn’t share too many details – other than stating that it didn’t matter that the student didn’t know how to properly cut a cake because it’d still taste the same. But the picture tugged at everyone’s heartstrings and quickly went viral. Check out a video below:
