We’ve been dying to check out the "venue" known as the Purple Door for a while now thanks to los chicos de Barra Libre. We’re not sure if this is an actual venue, but it is the studio of legendary producer Giorgio Gomelsky, an important figure in late 60’s Brit rock history, who discovered The Rolling Stones and managed The Yardbirds, who later became Led Zeppelin! And Giorgio likes to throw parties here, especially if his friends Barra Libre are involved! Tomorrow, Barra Libre and more are having a party just because (the excuse is Capricorn birthdays, but its just to have a party). La Rana Santacruz will be deligthing all with his acordeon-infused rock folk mix, and the naughty DJ Sujinho will be making everyone grind with his crrazy baile funk. The other bands, we still have to check out.
