The Triumphant Return of El Guincho

After canceling a summer tour claiming “exhaustion,” Spanish one-man band El Guincho (Pablo Díaz-Reixa) has decided to finally dar el salto from Barcelona to the US for a fall tour.

Let’s not forget the fact that he finally released his album Alegranza! world-wide via Young Turks/XL Recordings so this probably has something to do with him finally rescheduling. But hey, we’re not ones to criticize, if he wants to bring his brand of Afrobeat, dub, tropicália, bass (and any other style you want to add) mix to this side of the Atlantic, pues esta bienvenido a hacerlo.

He’ll be hitting U.S. and Canadian cities by the end of November, ending in New York in early December.
