For all those Latinos out there who couldn’t relate to Joe the Plumber from Ohio, no se preocupen–meet Tito the Builder!! Colombian by birth, now an American citizen and construction company owner in Virginia, Tito Muñoz is Sarah Palin’s new right-hand man/favorite name to drop on the campaign trail.
He introduced her at a rally recently (wearing his yellow hard hat and fluorescent orange vest), and Palin joked, “Not since the Jackson Five has the name Tito been used so often.” (Really? I bet you’d find plenty of Titos in California, Texas, Florida, New York, Arizona, New Mexico, Illinois, Nevada, Virginia, North Carolina……)
We can’t wait to see who’s next in the Republican party’s lineup of characters, who are starting to sound like Playmobil toys (or cartoon characters?). Eddie the Electrician? Ken the Carpenter?
