Trump: “I’m leading in the Hispanic vote. I’m also leading in the regular vote.”

We get that people are out to get the Latino vote, because you can’t win the 2016 election without us. For Donald Trump (we know, we know, you’re sick of him), voting is broken up into the Latino vote and the regular vote. “I love the Mexican people. They have tremendous spirit. Amazing spirit. They have amazing spirit. They’re great. I was just telling the press, there was a poll in Nevada that was just done,” he said during a Michigan campaign stop, according to MLive. “I’m leading in the Hispanic vote, and I’m going to win the Hispanic vote. I’m also leading in the regular vote.”

Uhhh… There’s so much wrong with this, but let’s focus on the fact that his phrasing makes it seem as though the Latino vote and “regular vote” are for two different elections. The word he was probably looking for was overall. Either way, Twitter wasn’t having it. Check out some of the best responses below.
