Sometimes all it takes is a guy, a girl, and a van. To make a good video, I mean. That’s the route Franceso Lettieri took for Xenia Rubinos’ “Whirlwind,” a video as syncopated as its song. “Whirlwind,” off her recently released Magic Trix, features drummer Marco Buccelli pounding away while Rubinos explores various positions (this is still not sounding right). The point is, it’s a really charming video for a really charming song. Watch it.
