Win Tickets to See Buscabulla and Empress Of at House of Creatives Festival

Miami’s music scene has long been pigeonholed as a haven for club addicts and rappers, but the past few years have seen the city’s music communities celebrate a newfound diversity. The latest addition is House of Creatives, a festival that brings together local upstarts and indie heavyhitters like The Flaming Lips and Crystal Castles. Unlike major U.S. music fests like Coachella or Lollapalooza, HOC is giving Latinx artists a much-needed signal boost, featuring the talent of indie pop troubadours Buscabulla, synth pop producer Empress Of, and chillwave DJ Millionyoung, among many others.

To gear you up for the inaugural fest, we asked our favorite Brooklyn boricuas Buscabulla (shout out to alliteration) to put together a playlist. The duo’s selections place salsa classics like Frankie Ruiz’s “Desnúdate Mujer” right alongside the prismatic synth stabs of Los Wálters’ “Más de Nadie.” There’s shapeshifting pop here, too – standouts from Helado Negro and Blood Orange’s 2016 albums will leave you feeling weightless and ready to escape to South Florida.

Lucky for you, we’ve teamed up with House of Creatives to give away two free passes to the festival this weekend. Set times were just announced, so enter to win, pull up your iCal, and start planning.

House of Creatives Music Festival hits Miami on Friday, November 18 and Saturday, November 19. For more information, click hereEnter to win below:
