Last night, Mexican director Alfonso Cuarón took home a Golden Globe for Best Director for his visual masterpiece “Gravity”. Today, Warner Bros has released a short featurette that takes you behind the scenes of the making of the film – from script to screen. Rather than take some of the magic out of the process, seeing the complicated rigging system used to replicate zero gravity with Sandra Bullock just made me appreciate the visual accomplishments of the film all the more.
With the Oscar nominations coming this Thursday, we’re excited to see what’s in store for “Gravity.” Check out the behind the scenes below:
