Gael & Diego Talk To Sundance About Their Ambulante California Festival

Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah is well underway and we’re already excited about the line up of documentaries and features telling Latino stories.

But amongst the things that gave us the most FOMO, was missing Gael and Diego’s celebration of the upcoming U.S. launch of their Ambulante Festival. Premiering September 21st in California, Gael and Diego’s vision for their traveling documentary film organization goes far beyond niche. “Ambulante was born out of a need to create spaces for cinema in Mexico like those we encountered while traveling to other countries presenting our films,” said Diego Luna.

The celebration included a reception for two documentary films premiering at the Festival; Cesar’s Last Fast, by Richard Ray Perez and Lorena Parlee, and The Measure of All Things, by Sam Green and yMusic.
