Mexico’s Beloved Comedian “Chespirito” Has Died

It is being reported that the Mexican comedic legend Roberto Gómez Bolaños, better known as Chespirito has died at 85 years old from heart failure. The beloved performer wrote, directed, and starred in some of the country’s most famous television series including: El Chapulín Colorado and El Chavo del Ocho.

Mexican newspaper Reforma spoke to a family friend who confirmed that Bolaños died at his home in Cancun, with his wife by his side early Friday afternoon.
