TRAILER: Cristiano Ronaldo’s Documentary Will Give You All of the Feels

“Tell me who is the best player in the world. Me. [laughs] Until January,” Cristiano Ronaldo says, throwing shade at his rival, Lionel Messi, and referencing the new cycle marked by the FIFA Ballon d’Or Awards. These are Ronaldo’s opening words during the trailer for his movie, Ronaldo. While he’s quick to give himself a pat on the back, we have to give him credit for not trying to come off as someone he is not. He is someone who likes to win, and he lets it be known.

There are, however, some moments when the documentary gets real sad, with his mother saying that sending him to Lisbon at age 12 made her feel as though she abandoned him. Ronaldo also talks about not knowing his own father. Though he has sweet moments with his own son, he has to balance being a mega soccer star with being a dad.

Watch the trailer above, and get ready to have some feels.

Ronaldo opens in theaters worldwide on November 9, 2015.
