If you had to come up with a list of male Hollywood stars that make the Internet quake with lust and adoration you’d likely wind up with the cast list for the latest Ben Affleck-starring film Triple FrontierJoining the Oscar-winning actor are Charlie Hunnam, Garrett Hedlund, Oscar Isaac and Pedro Pascal. Directed by J.C. Chandor and co-written by him and The Hurt Locker‘s Mark Boal, this is a thriller about, as the synopsis tells us, “a heist in a sparsely populated multi-border zone of South America.” Digging up info from this long-gestating project suggests that its title and location actually refer to the border zone between Paraguay, Argentina, and Brazil where the Iguazu and Paraná rivers converge. Though you wouldn’t know it from the press materials or the full trailer that recently dropped.

Instead, the first look at Triple Frontier makes it feel like the bastard child of Ocean’s 11, Narcos and Proof of Life. Affleck, Isaac, and the rest of the men in the film play a group of former Special Forces operatives. As Isaac’s Santiago ‘Pope’ Garcia tells them in the trailer, they deserve more than the pittance the United States offers its veterans: “You’ve been shot five times for your country and you can’t even afford to send your kids to college.” That’s why they decide to run an operation to steal millions in cash from Gabriel Martin Lorea (Reynaldo Gallegos), a notorious cartel leader in said nondescript South American region. Shot in Colombia — all that green lush greenery that’s washed out in the film’s slate blue color scheme is unmistakable — Chandor’s actioner also stars Pacific Rim: Uprising‘s Adria Arjona and We the Animals’ Sheila Vand.

Being a heist film, the Bob Dylan-scored trailer has all the money shots you’d expect: cars blowing up, rain-soaked gunfights, helicopters flying over city streets, and plenty of angered yelling by every single one of its leading men. Check it out in full below.

Triple Frontier arrives on Netflix in March 2019.
