Rumors have been circulating the past few days of an Orange is the New Black shoot happening in upstate New York. Now that’s fast! While some fans haven’t even finished watching Season 3, the newest episodes are reportedly filming with the former teen heartthrob/80s movie staple, Andrew McCarthy, continuing his stint behind the camera as a director of the hit show. When asked about his favorite series to direct, McCarthy told Deadline, “I love all my children equally, but my head is totally in the Orange is the New Black world now.”
For those of you who are still skeptical, Jessica Pimentel — whose character Maria Ruiz takes a dramatic turn in the beginning of season 3 — posted her Season 4 contract on Instagram with the caption “Signed, sealed, delivered.” It’s been confirmed, the newest season of Orange is the New Black is underway!
