A guac-themed restaurant is set to open in New York City on National Guacamole Day – the most sacred guacamole holiday. At 179 Avenue B, Guac Tacos + Tequilas will offer 11 types of guacamole starting on September 16. The restaurant, which had a soft open last month, is the brainchild of Vincent Sgarlato, who runs Italian restaurant Eleven B. The food’s ease and versatility inspired this eatery. “They’re all fun – guacamole is fun,” he said, according to DNA Info. “That’s the beautiful thing about guac – it’s not a hard dish. It’s fun, and everybody generally eats.”

The options look bomb, and they include everything from chopped bacon to chorizo to mango. And if Sgarlato’s building his entire business around avocados, it’s because he must think he can knock it out of the park. The website also invites you to “come in and guac-it-out,” which I can’t decide if I hate or not. But it’s important to know up front that a serving of guac is $12, which is a bit extra.

Not all menu items involve avocado. Check out the rest of the menu here.
