Inwood Dominican staple Mamajuana Cafe has been feeding contented Northern Manhattan residents for years, now, but in most New Yorkers’ reckoning Inwood is, like, somewhere near Canada. Mamajuana’s new location isn’t leaps and bounds further downtown, on 88th and Amsterdam, but it’s far enough that the streets are still grids and have numbers.
We’re excited to check out the new location, but – and tell us if we’re crazy – Grubstreet’s posted the new menu and…is it just us or has Mamajuana’s added a whole lot of Mexican fare, now that they’re further downtown? (View the original menu here.)
