Last week, Jennifer Lopez kicked off Jennifer Lopez: All I Have, her Las Vegas residency, at The Axis at Planet Hollywood, and since then people have been talking about it non-stop (partially because she split her pants open at a performance on Saturday…)

Once upon a time, Vegas was considered a retirement home for past-their-prime singers. But around the time Britney Spears headed to Vegas, we saw a shift in how these residencies were viewed by performers and audiences. Today, artists look at Vegas as a way to rake in the big bucks (sometimes while they’re still on the charts), without the grueling cross-country touring. And J.Lo, who is known to be a killer negotiator, no es na’ pendeja. She will reportedly make a whopping $26M for her stay in Vegas.

If you think about it, La Lopez is a perfect fit for Sin City. She’s not necessarily the greatest vocalist, but there are two things the woman indisputably nails: putting on an entertaining show and looking fly as hell. And what is Vegas for if not theatrics and flashy wardrobes?

Judged by those criteria, Lopez delivered and she delivered hard. At the end of the 90-minute opening night, she even impressed her damn self. “It was spectacular,” she told People. “We wanted to create a really unique show that was really unique to Vegas that only I could do, and I really felt like we did that.”

So in case you’re behind on your TMZ, here are some highlights from her opening weekend:

1

She had 10 costume changes.

People reports that J.Lo had 10 outfit changes, which is roughly a new outfit every nine minutes. The LA Times reports that 335,000 Swarovski crystals were used to make her costumes. One of the dresses looked like a giant bed sheet/coffee filter that doubled as a projection screen, as well as more J.Lo classics.

Mad celebrities went to support her

Justin Bieber, Gina Rodriguez, Rebel Wilson, Kelly Osbourne, Hoda Kotb, T.I., Rosie Huntington-White, Nicole Scherzinger, and basically every one else attended opening night.

3

Her mother had the time of her life.

No one danced harder than J.Lo’s mom.

She performed with Ja Rule.

They took it way back to 2001. And even though we’re furious she didn’t wear the Juicy sweatsuit, this was a precious moment.

5

She performed with Pitbull.

But this was pretty expected.

6

She sang "I Hope You Dance."

Rolling Stone reports that J.Lo dedicated this song to her twins.

7

She upstaged everyone at the afterparty.

And this is the portion of the post that we remind you that she is a 46-year-old woman.

She accidentally flashed her ?

J.Lo had a bit of a wardrobe malfunction at her Saturday show, and her sparkly Swarovski catsuit basically gave up when she bent over and split open – briefly exposing her famous butt for all to see.
