This weekend, a celebration of Peruvian food will take shape in Washington DC. At the fifth annual Taste of Peru, nearly 30 food vendors will offer the best of the South American country’s cuisine. For years, foodies have touted Peru’s food as the next big thing – an acclaim that’s a result of the country’s rich biodiversity and delectable treats. And this event, which takes place on June 4, is a great way to see why Peruvian food continues racking up the industry’s biggest awards.

Here’s are some of the restaurants you should check out this weekend:

Taste of Peru – Washington DC 2017 will take place June 4, 2017 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the University of the District of Columbia, 4200 Connecticut Avenue Northwest, Washington, DC 20008. Buy tickets here and learn more here.
