Tony Gallardo – "Mentiras"

Tijuana born hero Tony Gallardo starts out 2015 with this single entitled “Mentira,” and it’s just a taste of the sort of musical enhancements he has in store for the rest of the year. This piece is a sort of ’80s synth pop relic with contemporary influences, and an even more polished approach by the artist who has worked on this very particular style for years. –Adrián Méndez

Mom Tudie & Tom Misch – "Waiting On You (Faded Edit)"

Kryone and Faded are by far my favorite Mexican producers right now. Them, just like any of the producers from Soulection, are continuosly putting out music that end up being most of the stuff I listen to on a daily basis. This time, Jesus Torres gives the night pop British producers his flavor and the result will definitely get some of you in the mood for grinding. –Eric Gamboa

OMVVR – "Untitled A"

I dig OMVVR’s chameleon-like workflow. He’s constantly cruising through different sounds and genres like most of us shuffle through shit on iTunes. But truth is, this untitled liquid d&b joint made me go back to the old days when I used to lock myself in my room and try to dance like a b-boy to my favorite kinds of jungle breaks without much success. Ahh… I sure miss those days. Not the NyQuil, though. Thank you for the ride back home (where the heart is), bruh *praisehandsemoji* –Eric Gamboa

Weed Konducta – "Angel Heart #02"

Among other rough diamonds I’ve found is this homie that I’ve had on my radar since his early beginnings on Soundcloud. Weed Konducta is a producer hailing from Xalapa, Veracruz, a city that is quite Austinish if you ask me, despite the presence of drug cartels in the area. Weed Konducta is quite keen on hip-hop driven beats and has developed a very sensuous and dark aesthetic around his pieces. Besides this, he also makes juke and footwork, and it’s something you’ll be able to experience once his latest EP drops via Ten Toes Turbo. –Adrián Méndez

Kupa – "Batalla (Mock The Zuma Remix)"

Now this is something you do not hear every day, especially in my country. This remix definitely puts together two giants of Mexico’s state of the art electronic music. Veteran 8-bit pirate, Kupa, owns the game ever since the new generation of producers were watching Power Rangers on TV and had no idea what dubstep was about. Mock the Zuma might not be from the old school, but he sure has made his way to Internet stardom more effectively than many of the old fellas. So what we have here is a great document that portrays a very unique synergy, that just keeps reminding me why I haven’t moved to other places. –Eric Gamboa

DJ Fourth Drop – "Me Ama Como Tu Haces"

I recently ran into Fourth Drop while digging, and his approach to dembow and reggaeton blew my mind, adding a futuristic/pop touch to the mix that’s undeniably genius. This piece is exactly what you would expect of Justin Bieber if he started taking lessons from Farruko. –Adrián Méndez
