Vive Latino has revealed their lineup for the 2015 edition of the festival, set for the weekend of March 13-15 Mexico City’s Foro Sol. With a lineup full of talent across the board from near and far, we’ll take you through our picks for some of the best of the best to keep on your radar this time around.

Compass
The superteam of Compass, also known as the collaborative project of Mexiwizard producers Mexican Institute of Sound and Toy Selectah, are due to make an appearance at Vive Latino. With over 80 artists across scenes that are a part of their forthcoming Compass album–Maluca, Nina Sky, Kool A.D., Bonde Do Role, among others–we’re eager to see just how this will translate to a live setup.
Matías Aguayo
Berlin-based artist, experimental electronic producer, and DJ Matias Aguayo is headed back to Mexico, fresh off releasing a “calmer, more pensive” version of himself on Kompakt Records with his hazy Legende EP. We expect his live performance will stay true to his captivating improvisational tropical techno-percussive performances. His catalog with his Cómeme label alone is fuel enough to power his notoriously high-energy performances, drawing from top-notch recent releases from electronic acts like DJs Pareja, Carisma, Alejandro Paz, Daniel Maloso, Dany F, and more.
La MiniTK Del Miedo
La MiniTK del Miedo will take the stage straight from the cumbia gótica depths of Bogotá, bringing their immersive audio-visual show with them. Taking their Muerte y Sabrosura back to the festival circuit after an applauded live set at NRMAL last year, the trio leaves us wondering what new tricks they’ll have up their morbid sleeves this year.
Dengue Dengue Dengue
We imagine that there’s few places in the world that Dengue Dengue Dengue haven’t toured at this point. With their emergence at the beginning of the digital cumbia boom not so long ago, they’ve managed to continue reinventing their full live experience, and have continued churning out remixes and high-rotation mixtapes beyond the dub cumbia sphere all the while.
