There are a handful of us out there that didn’t inherit cooking genes, and the idea of whipping up a holiday meal may seem like the most daunting thing on Earth. Whether you’re a Thanksgiving orphan or just simply can’t be bothered to cook that jalapeño cornbread stuffing for your friends and fam dinner, not to worry – we’ve gathered some spots where you can enjoy Latin-inspired holiday treats without having to toil over the hot stove.

Fuego at Hotel Maya

If you enjoy a restaurant’s atmosphere just as much as you enjoy the food, Fuego inside Hotel Maya in Long Beach is the perfect place for your Thanksgiving dinner. This Mexican restaurant sits right on the scenic Queensway bay so you’ll get a dinner and a view. Executive Chef Victor Juarez will be serving a special traditional turkey meal that will top off with a marshmallow pumpkin cake for dessert. La Flor de Yucatan

La Flor de Yucatan’s got you covered if you’re looking for a Thanksgiving meal to enjoy in your casita. While the restaurant is selling stuffed turkey meals that include a pumpkin pie, mashed potatoes and veggies, you can also order Mayan side dishes and Yucatan-style tamales- if you’re craving something less traditional. The entire meal feeds 10-15 people for $137.

The Bazaar

Spanish chef José Andrés is all about making his food fun and social. Thanksgiving dinner at his modern yet retro Beverly Hills restaurant will be no different. At his holiday table you’ll find a family style organic roasted turkey, Catalan spinach, pumpkin cremosas and papas canarias. Seating is between 4pm and 8:45pm. Each plate will be $75, but an a la carte menu will also be available.

Guelaguetza

Another alternative for dinner at home is Guelaguetza’s Oaxacan style Thanksgiving dinner. The restaurant is selling a meal that will include a turkey, spaghetti, dessert salad, bolillos and one of Oaxaca’s greatest gifts to the world- Oaxacan mole! All for $119. You’ll be able to pick up your meal between 12pm and 6pm on November 27.

Porto’s Cuban Bakery

The famous Cuban bakery is staying open until 4pm on Thanksgiving – that’s enough time to have one of their delicious turkey sandwiches or one of their baked treats. This bakery is known for their sweets and for the holidays they’re selling special pumpkin cookies, turkey themed cakes and various pies. Dine in or order out.
