Under the new alter-ego Leidi Li, Bomba Estereo‘s Liliana Saumet published this new side-project of hers where she pleads guilty on the charges of boyfriend-slaughtering.
Stepping away from the renown Bomba’s electro-vacilón style, Saumet rhymes over a downtempo beat provided by Argentina’s AOIM, which is the abstract alter-ego of producer Pedro D’Alessandro (or Sandro Dalepedro, depending on the day) and happens to be Liliana’s boyfriend (or more accurately fiancé, according to her Facebook profile), so we have to assume she didn’t actually kill him and it was only an inside joke. Still, “Maté a mi novio” is a funny joint, especially when she tells her mom, over Skype, that she’s not gonna get married or have any sort of honey moon.
