Christian Nodal will bring his Pa’l Cora Tour to Argentina later this summer. However, the Argentine internet doesn’t appear to be taking kindly to the news. The Mexican crooner’s concert announcement comes a few weeks after he and one of Argentina’s biggest artists, Cazzu, revealed they had broken up.

Less than a year after starting a family together, Nodal and Cazzu announced their split on May 24. Cazzu gave birth to their daughter Inti in Argentina in Sept. 2023. A little over two weeks after his breakup with Cazzu, Nodal and música mexicana star Ángela Aguilar revealed they were in a relationship. Cazzu later released a statement saying she was doing fine and focusing on taking care of Inti following her separation from Nodal.

On the heels of his breakup with Cazzu, Nodal announced he is visiting Argentina soon with his Pa’l Cora Tour. The concert will take place at the Movistar Arena in Buenos Aires on Aug. 14. And though Nodal and Cazzu wished each other well in their statements about their split, Argentine fans don’t appear to be happy about the “Adiós Amor” singer’s upcoming concert there.

On X (formerly known as Twitter), Argentines are airing their grievances about Nodal’s concert in Buenos Aires. One person wrote, “How is Nodal going to do a concert at the Movistar Arena in Argentina? I want that infiel out of my country.” Another person wrote, “Que huevotes to schedule a date in Argentina, Nodal is going to be booed and honestly for good reason qlero.”

Last month, Nodal announced his Pa’l Cora Tour. The U.S. leg of the tour will kick off on Sept. 11 at the WAMU Theater in Seattle, WA. From there, Nodal will continue to visit arenas across the U.S. through early November. The last stateside concert will take place in Baltimore, MD, on Nov. 10.
