Less than a year after starting a family together, Christian Nodal and Cazzu have called it quits. Last night (May 23), the Latine power couple revealed they had broken up.
Música mexicana star Nodal and Argentine singer Cazzu went public with their relationship in November 2022. In April of last year, Cazzu revealed during a concert that she was pregnant with their first child. The following September, she gave birth to their daughter Inti in Argentina. Nodal and Cazzu frequently shared posts on their social media accounts about the experience of becoming parents.
Last night, Christian Nodal and Cazzu took to Instagram to reveal they had broken up. In their Instagram stories, they shared sweet messages about each other while opening up about their decision to part ways.
“The time has come to share that Julieta [Cazzu’s first name] and I are going our separate ways,” Nodal wrote. “Our love and respect for each other remains strong, especially in our role as parents to our wonderful daughter, Inti. I am deeply grateful for the moments we shared and will always carry those memories fondly. I appreciate your support and understanding during this time of change.”
Cazzu reposted Nodal’s message in her Instagram stories. She then shared her own message about the experience of having a relationship in the public eye.
“We artists are a screen of what happens in real life,” Cazzu wrote. “You go through love, heartbreak, successes, and mistakes with us. Today, as it was many times and as there are still many, you accompany us, some with hate and others with much love. Thank you. Everything heals.”
Cazzu’s Instagram stories and posts afterward showed she was spending time with Inti. In September, Nodal will hit the road in the U.S. with his Pa’l Cora Tour.
