Like every fall, it’s that time of year to start gearing up for one of New York’s most highly anticipated music extravaganzas. Home to music fans, industry professionals, bloggers, musicians, filmmakers, and media peeps, this year, the CMJ Music Marathon & Film Festival will take place October 18-22.
As it musically sprawls the city annually, in two short months CMJ will take over 80 of New York City’s best venues, theaters, and nightclubs attracting about 120,000 attendees. This is definitely a marathon to start prepping for (physical training, meditation, detox?). However you wanna arm yourself, or start requesting days off work, we’ll first give you the first round of listings which includes many Latin delights, national and international sensations.
