Dembow’s biggest star will be hitting the road in the U.S. this fall. Today (May 1), Dominican superstar El Alfa announced his 2024 El Mejor Del Planeta Tour dates.

Throughout his career, El Alfa has helped globalize dembow music from his home country, the Dominican Republic, and pushed it to new heaights. Bad Bunny tapped El Alfa for “La Romana,” J Balvin worked with him on “Que Calor,” and Peso Pluma collaborated with him on “Plebada.” Kali Uchis also recently worked with him on “Muñekita” with the City Girls’ JT. He has amassed over 22 million monthly listeners on Spotify.

Now El Alfa’s fans will get to enjoy his dembow bangers live in concert. The 2024 El Mejor Del Planeta Tour will kick off on Sept. 10 at the Union in Salt Lake City, UT. Throughout September, November, and early December, El Alfa will put on concerts in major cities like Ontario, CA; Miami, FL; Buffalo, NY; Newark, NJ; and Atlanta, GA. The tour will wrap up on Dec. 8 at the Eagle Bank Arena in Washington, DC. The tour will be produced by Loud And Live.

“Loud And Live has always taken pride in recognizing the best in the industry and partnering with the most distinguished artists,” Nelson Albareda, founder and CEO of Loud And Live, shared in a statement. “This is the case with El Alfa, whose career has grown meteorically in this very competitive genre known as urban music.”

Tickets for the 2024 El Mejor Del Planeta Tour are now on sale. This might be the last chance to see El Alfa live, as he has previously revealed that he plans to retire in 2025. In March, he teamed up with Spanish pop icon Enrique Iglesias on the song “La Botella.”
