Fania Records and Remezcla are teaming up to bring you Armada Fania, a summer-long pop-up club series celebrating the legendary Latin label’s 50th anniversary. The series, running June 19 – August 28th across NYC, features an all-star lineup of DJs combining original and remix sounds of Latin soul, funk, boogaloo, salsa, and more, paired with a pop-up store at each event to bring you the freshest merchandise from Fania’s iconic catalogue.
This Thursday, June 19th, head over to SOB’s for the kick-off event as the legendary Rich Medina hits the stage to take us through his 20 plus years of experience weaving together the best of hip hop, house, funk, soul, and more, alongside digital cumbia bossman Geko Jones of Que Bajo?!, and Riobamba of Picó Picante.
