Bogotá’s Festival Estéreo Picnic just announced the lineup for its 2018 edition. The festival has carved a space in the regional music landscape, standing out for booking homegrown talent alongside international headliners. In 2018, the fest remains true to that tradition with a diverse and forward-thinking lineup.

For its ninth consecutive iteration, Gorillaz, Lana Del Rey, and The National will headline the stage with local heavyweights like Bomba Estéreo and Ondatrópica, who, like the festival itself, draw their identity and musical inspiration from the country’s vast musical and cultural heritage.

On March 23-25, 2018, Festival Estéreo Picnic will also take its crowds on a musical tour across Latin America, starting with Mexican rock legends Zoé, Peru’s electro-cumbia amazónica group Dengue Dengue Dengue, and Venezuela’s dance punk rockers La Vida Boheme.

Rounding out the lineup are Guadalajara’s Centavrvs, who experiment with traditional sounds, forging a new generation of Mexican music, along with CDMX’s tight-knit rave label N.A.A.F.I. As far as Colombian talent, local hip-hop squad Crew Peligrosos will share the spotlight with Tyler, The Creator. Bogotá rock dance bands Telebit and Diamante Eléctrico, as well as local acts Esteban Copete y su Kineto Pacífico, La Boa, Ácido Pantera, La Chiva Gantiva, Moügli, Abelardo Carbonó and La Ramona complete the talent.
