Back in 2011 DC’s Empresarios bursted onto the scene and caught us all by surprise with a remarkable debut album, Sabor Tropical, that mixed reggaeton with cumbia and some soulful, left-field, downtempo instrumentals that you wouldn’t usually expect from a Latin party band. “Lock in” was one of those tracks. It felt like it belonged on a Thievery Corporation set, rather than the repertoire of a band that sang about “Perreo Intenso.”

On “Tu No Tienes Que Llamar” they went back to that first album, grabbed that instrumental track and simply laid some vocals on it with lyrics about the nuances of dating in the social media era.
