This is what I imagine PCP would sound like. Bogotá’s Los Pirañas are an eccentric bunch and their video for “Salvemos Nuestro Folclor” only furthers that theory. Directed by Santiago Mora, the quick clip features the tropical noise trio, sporting bright white suits and goggles, playing frantically while a cartoon fire engulfs them. Chicago label Alona’s Dream Records will soon release the track as a 7”, marking Los Pirañas’ North American debut. Halloween’s coming up, so this should make it on every nightmare-inducing playlist.
