One of the most rewarding things about SXSW is seeing the worlds of international artists collide. Musicians from all over the globe come to Austin for one week to showcase their sound and foster creative collaboration, often with people they would only communicate with through SoundCloud or over email. One highlight of that spirit was N.A.A.F.I.’s set at the last night of Peligrosa House, now a SXSW staple. The five-day, two-stage event boasted stellar performances from El Dusty, Sotomayor, and tons of other Latino acts, but one of the standout performances came from the Mexican DJ collective, whose set featured a surprise performance from Kelela. The R&B chanteuse performed a hyperactive, Jersey club take on “Rewind,” a cut from her 2015 EP Hallucinogen.

It’s a good look for N.A.A.F.I., who have grown their reach to international markets in recent months. Watch a clip from the performance below, and check out our profile on NAAFI here.
