LAMC 2012 Lineup

We expect the summer of 2012 to be spectacular, revolutionary and loud (hey, the Mayan calendar soon ends). And we expect no less for the music that’ll reign and perhaps keep reigning over us this year, especially in its capital: New York City. Like every year for the past dozen years, the Latin Alternative Music Conference (LAMC), curated by the label that holds the biggest Latin indie talents of today, will bring ya for the 13th time its army of artists and industry affiliates to make sure these needs are met: from the nerdiest pannel discussions, to a night of showcasing true talents, unplugged-style, and, for the real reason to many, for some hardcore, debauchery party/performances. You’ll have high doses of Latin Alt indie music for four consecutive days and nights.

With that said, LAMC just announced their complete lineup via Spotify with a pretty cool 23-track playlist. Hell, there’re some pretty good tracks in here. So for those dates, you’ll obviously see a bunch of Nacional Records artists like Ana Tijoux, and Ritmo Machine, as well as La Vida Bohéme, Monica Lionheart and No Te Va Gustar (who also participated last year, adding major label singer/songwriter Ximena Sariñana). We also welcome all those indie newbies who don’t often make their way to the city that doesn’t sleep like Adrianigual, Cero39, Pamela Rodriguez, La Santa Cecilia, and Carla Morrison. Of course there’re those leading headliners (Calle 13, Mala Rodriguez, Kinky, and Los Auténticos Decadentes).

So enough blabbing and behold this year’s LAMC lineup:
