Humans of the club, rejoice! The Latin Electronic Alternative Dance Festival (L.E.A.D.) is returning to Brooklyn to take over Bossa Nova Civic Club, this August 30th and 31st. The festival, founded by Brooklyn artist Chris Video, is dedicated to showcasing a cross-section of dialogue happening between up-and-coming Latin electronic artists.

In its second edition, the festival welcomes the first Brooklyn appearance of Mexico City underground label/collective/experimental fiestón N.A.A.F.I. (finally!), with label head Fausto Bahía and Espectral in town, plus local slash globe-trotting DJ, producer, and half of the duo Runaway with Jacques Renault, Marcos Cabral. The weekend will not be short of locally-rooted, globally-engaged talent, with the likes of DKDS (Safer at Night), Pana Li (Corporativo Mucha Fiesta), Fiasco, False Witness (Lit City Trax, KUNQ), Riobamba (Picó Picante), Niko Javan, Chris Video live (Bossa Nova, LEAD), Beto Cravioto (Kaviar Disco Club), Chalk live, and Sex Waxx on the roster.
