2013 promised us a new Ceci Bastida album and gosh-darn-it we deserve it. If Veo la Marea feels like a distant (wonderful) memory, then find solace in her new track, “Por la Calle.” The track has all the Ceci elements we covet (horns, sassy voice, and overall catchiness), with the added bonus of Luke Top’s guiding hand. Top is the singer/bassist for LA-native outfit Fool’s Gold, so we can thank him for all that global fusion business on the track.
