It’s no secret that many of us here at Remezcla love Dani Shivers. Why? Well, a lot of that is due to the fact that Tijuana’s queen of witch house is like a Mexicana version of an anime character. She’d fit right in a series about school children who befriend monsters and demons, which is appropriate considering her new work.
Shivers recently released “Trilogy Pt. 2 (Vampire)” off her upcoming, full-length debut Jinx. It’s a lot more cutesy and pop-oriented than the spooky tracks off her previous EPs. O sea, not that there weren’t any pop sensibilities in her previous work but, in this track, it’s almost like Frankenstein showed up in pink pajamas.
In the song, Shivers sings about looking for a vampire boyfriend. Uh-oh, is this a new version of Twilight? Say it ain’t so!
