Francisca Valenzuela has an album in the works, her first since 2011’s Buen Soldado. Prenderemos fuego al cielo will drop late this year (TBD) and will feature some music magic by producers Dave Sitek (TV On the Radio, Yeah Yeah Yeahs), Aureo Baqueiro (Natalia Lafourcade), Vicente Sanfuentes (Surtek Collective, Los Amigos Invisibles, Matias Aguayo), and Grammy-nominated Jesse Rogg, a.k.a. Golden Touch, who’s lent his hands to Sky Ferreira, OK GO!, and The Presets, among others.
Rogg worked with Valenzuela on the album’s title track and first single, which you can hear below. “Prenderemos fuego al cielo” effortlessly dabbles in disco and dance, hamming it up for the sweaty summer months.
