Ñu-cumbia has its pantheon of legendary heroes, pioneers and those who pushed the boundaries of the hybrid genre further. Mexico’s G-Flux is in the latter camp. Even though this is technically his official debut album, he’s been involved in the scene for many years, collaborating with all the genre’s luminaries since he debuted with the now-classic “Ciclón del Caribe,” a joint project with DF’s Afrodita.
This self-released digital album includes some of G-Flux’s classic work plus many new gems and a luxurious list of guests that includes Los Master Plus, Empresarios, Boogat, and, of course, Afrodita.
